November 13, 2017Software supplier Viewpoint Construction Software has laid the groundwork for future growth after reporting record financial results. The Newcastle firm, which is a market leader in construction collaboration software, said it had been buoyed by the Government’s infrastructure pipeline and the introduction of new building standards. The company saw turnover rise from £11.6m in 2015 to £15.1m last year, allowing the firm to record a £2.5m operating profit after having posted a £375,000 loss 12 months earlier. Viewpoint said it had been boosted by new Government rules which mean that all centrally procured public projects must be BIM level 2 compliant.
