Neverfail recently announced that it has opened a new data center in Sydney, Australia. The company said the new data center, which is now online and already serving the company's various ISV and enterprise clients, supports production and disaster recovery for customers and enables customer growth in the APAC region.

American disaster recovery and cloud company Neverfail announced the opening of its new data center this week. The Sydney data center has been online since February, already serving 38 customers.

Trimble announced today it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Viewpoint from Bain Capital in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.2 billion. Viewpoint is highly complementary to Trimble's e-Builder business, and will extend Trimble's ability to provide more complete and integrated project, jobsite and business workflows across the construction lifecycle.

Trimble announced today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Viewpoint. Viewpoint is a leading provider of scalable construction management software, which integrates contractors' financial and resource management with project operations, jobsite and field. Trimble funded the transaction using a combination of senior notes, term loan, existing credit facilities and cash on hand. Viewpoint will be reported as part of Trimble's Buildings and Infrastructure Segment.
