Happy Thanksgiving From Trimble Viewpoint
It’s been a whirlwind of a year and the holidays are quickly approaching. We find great importance in taking time to recognize all that we are thankful for, especially with Thanksgiving being a few short days away.
We asked our employees and customers in The Viewpoint Network what they are most thankful for this year. As we read through the responses, we were moved by the stories of health, community and loved ones. To kick off the holiday season, we want to share some of the responses with you!
Here are a few of the submissions:
Giving Thanks—In Their Own Words
“Given all the shortcomings from this year within the industry, we are still progressing onward and upward.”
—Andy Gagliardi, Information Systems Specialist at Rummel Construction
“This year we (Coeur d'Alene Paving) celebrated our 20th Anniversary. We shifted our focus to the community and chose to celebrate by teaming up with a different locally owned business in our area. On the 20th of each month, we send our customers/employees/vendors/social media followers/anyone to that business to the local business for something free purchased by Coeur d'Alene Paving. It has had a tremendous turnout—we've purchased over 1,000 cheeseburger meals, hundreds and hundreds of coffees, ice cream cones, car washes and so much more. We've heard so many positive stories from the local businesses and from the people who were able to partake in the giveaways. It's been a special way to celebrate and I am incredibly grateful to work for a company who is so community focused.”
—Holli Virgil, AP/AR/Marketing at Coeur d'Alene Paving
“I am thankful for a company who, in these ‘wild and crazy times,’ encouraged us to not focus on what we can't do, but focus on what we can do. This makes me appreciate all the more, the opportunities to take motorcycle trips with friends and family.”
—Paul Barber, Technical Support Specialist at Trimble Viewpoint
“I am grateful that I am part of an industry that builds things. Buildings and structures that we can see and touch and show friends and family, Something you can be proud of and glad you are a part of. Isn't it great!”
—Craig Lundskog, Finance Director at Great Basin Industrial
“I'm thankful that the company I work for is so team oriented. It makes it easier to do a great job when everyone is working towards one goal and we're all on the same team!”
—Heather McCoy, Project Coordinator at Shaeffer Hyde Construction
“I am thankful to still have good health, thankful I have been able to spend time with my family and thankful to have been working with an awesome work family. I have felt the support from Trimble Viewpoint over the last year and a half first hand and am greatly appreciative!”

—Tim Sommers, Controller at Rogers & Sons, Inc.
“I am thankful I have been able to work through the entire pandemic. It has been a difficult situation to navigate, but being able to show up to work everyday, in person or from home, has kept me motivated and oh so thankful for the technology we have in place.”
—Lacey Ruchert, Payroll Manager at Eucon Corporation
“I am thankful that my company takes such great care of its employees. The benefits and opportunities are wonderful and despite the large size of the organization it feels like a family.”
—Colleen Ward, Business Analyst at Hatzel & Buehler, Inc.
“Due to our remote status, I was able to move to Florida. This morning I got a chance to sit outside between meetings and soak up the 76-degree weather. #trimblegratitude”
