Trimble Viewpoint announced wins following the Construction Computing Magazine (The Hammers) award ceremony.

Trimble’s Viewpoint Field View solution picked up two wins at the 2023 Construction Computing Awards, also known as the Hammers.

Field View is helping construction companies of all sizes improve quality management, deliver defect-free projects, and comply with the latest building regulations. We’re pleased to announce it took home ‘Mobile Technology of the Year’ for 2023 at the Hammers.

Trimble Viewpoint also walked away with ‘Digital Construction Project of the Year’ for Connecting Britain’s Biggest Nuclear Power Station, the construction of Hinkley Point C. The project involved Trimble Viewpoint Field View, Trimble Tekla Structures structural design software, and the Trimble Connect common data environment being used by the project’s civil engineering works, BYLOR to turn traditionally paper-based processes digital.

Additionally, the Trimble team took home ‘Structural Engineering Application of the Year’ for its solution, Tekla Structural Designer. The solution gives engineers the power to analyse and design buildings efficiently and profitably.

The awards evening took place on 9 November at The Leonardo City Hotel in London.

The Hammers Awards are one of the UK’s premier honours for construction technology developers and represent an excellent opportunity for construction companies involved in engineering projects of all sizes to claim recognition for their business and operations undertaken over the past year.

The final results are decided by the Construction Computing Magazine reader base through a voting system combined with the decisions of a panel of judges composed of experts from across the industry.
