Viewpoint, BuildingPoint Midwest Align on Business Partnership
Viewpoint has entered into a strategic partnership with BuildingPoint Midwest (BPMW) for the state of Illinois that will expand the scale of sales and technology consulting services throughout the state. BuildingPoint Midwest will work in conjunction with Viewpoint’s own sales and professional services teams to bring the latest technology and software solutions to the market, creating a “one-stop shop” for Illinois contractors to meet their ongoing business and technology needs.
A Win-Win Relationship
This partnership will strengthen Viewpoint’s ability to bring both new clients and existing Trimble clients into the ViewpointOne suite of construction management software solutions. BuildingPoint already has a long-standing relationship with Trimble as a reseller of software and hardware solutions.
“This is a win-win partnership that will strengthen our combined abilities to deliver a full suite of leading-edge construction solutions to contractors,” said Nicholas DiBitetto, general manager of BuildingPoint Midwest. “We’re consistently asked about construction ERP solutions by our clients and having this relationship with Viewpoint will allow us to better serve our clients’ complete needs.”
DiBitetto added that many of those inquiries involve their existing Trimble client base and that helping these clients understand the full suite of technology solutions and services available to them is a key focal point of this relationship. For BuildingPoint Midwest, the partnership also creates new opportunities in the heavy highway and civil engineering space, allowing the company to re-engage with former clients — currently being serviced by Trimble — for their ERP and business software needs.

Decades of Experience and Leadership
BuildingPoint has offices and dedicated technology consultants spread across the United States, including Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi. But for BuildingPoint Midwest, Illinois is its home turf.
The company has operated there and been a strategic Trimble partner and reseller since the late-1980s. BuildingPoint’s portfolio of Trimble solutions streamline communication and collaboration throughout the Design-Build-Operate (DBO) lifecycle to realize greater efficiency and profitability. “By adding Viewpoint’s solutions to our mix it gives us greater flexibility to meet our goal of helping contractors innovate and modernize,” DiBitetto said. “We want to stretch the boundaries of what technology can help them achieve.”
