The Operations suite is comprised of several modules with a broad range of functionality such as project management, work order management, service agreements, subcontracts, purchase orders, equipment management, and document control.

These modules are designed for contractors to improve operational efficiencies and to streamline processes. Vista 6.15 offers improvements in the following areas:

Service Management

Service Management is comprised of the Work Order Management and Service Agreement modules. These modules are designed for Specialty and other contractors seeking tools to easily manage small job work orders. Additionally, the modules are designed for quick billing, automating preventative maintenance, facilitating periodic billing, and managing the renewal of agreements. Vista 6.15 includes the following enhancements:

Quotations for Existing Work Orders – To create a logical workflow and organized paper trail, field technicians who uncover additional potential business while on a work order, can now quote that new work to the existing work order.

Dispatch Filters and Search – To help dispatchers more quickly and easily locate the relevant activities they are looking for, Vista now has the ability to filter the activities on past, current, and future, as well as search on multiple criteria, such as technician, customer, or work order.

Maintenance Distribution – In cases where large volumes of equipment maintenance activities cannot be completed in a single month, Vista now has the ability to distribute the maintenance across the year. Contractors will also benefit from the ability to increase the number of customer touch-points in a year by distributing maintenance activities across the year.

Suggestion Box Items – In addition, several popular suggestion box items were addressed, such as:

  • Attachment functionality has been added to Service Management PO entries.
  • Caller info from the Service Management call Handler now flows to the “requested by” section on SM work order.
  • When cancelling a work order the scope status now remains “open.”
