Viewpoint Powers Construction Industry Growth
About 1 in 3 members of the ENR 400 are Viewpoint customers
The performance of Viewpoint customers in the 2018 ENR 400 list attests to ViewpointOne’s adoption as a strategic platform for digital transformation and enormous growth
I just returned from my first CFMA (Construction Financial Management Association) annual conference and it was a great experience. I met many newcomers like myself along with seasoned veterans who had a ton of experience and insights to share. Managing growth in a booming economy without affecting margins, increasing role of technology and data within the business, cybersecurity, and shortage of talented and skilled employees were among the most popular topics discussed with many excellent sessions and presentations.
With more than 8,200 members and 100 regional events, the CFMA is a beacon of industry knowledge. I saw that first-hand in the presentations I attended, and the people I talked to.
Achieving Industry — and Customer — Success
During the conference, I was privileged to attend Viewpoint’s Construction Technology Forum where our product managers and leaders presented on Viewpoint’s product strategy, vision and roadmap to the largest group of attendees at the event. The discussions from that event prompted me to examine the role Viewpoint has in the construction industry ecosystem and how we help our customers succeed.
Members of the construction industry measure their success from their ranking in the ENR 400 list which ranks the top 400 construction companies in North America by their annual revenue. I analyzed the 2018 version of this list and found the following about Viewpoint customers:
- About 1 in 3 members are Viewpoint customers (30%)
- 32 customers achieved their ranking in 2018 (not on the list in 2017)
- Bradbury Stamm Construction has the largest year-to-year growth going from 377 rank in 2017 to 238 in 2018.
- 4 other customers have leaped rankings by more than 100
- Average gain for a customer was 31 in the rankings
That’s a pretty impressive testament to the growth and success that our clients are achieving, as well as Viewpoint’s role as their trusted technology partner.
