The Financial Review, for example, notes that the cost of concrete in Melbourne has risen by 20% over the past two years alone — and that tender prices have significantly increased across every major capital in the country.
Ironically, many of the hikes we see today are the result of strong demand which has, in turn, led to a shortage of skilled labour and materials.
