More than 150 Construction Pros Gather Across Four U.S. Cities for the Debut of Viewpoint’s Digital Contractor Roadshows

Last month, the Viewpoint Digital Contractor Roadshow had its debut across the United States in Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta and Charlotte. More than 150 construction professionals gathered to discuss the challenges facing the construction industry and the role technology is playing to solve them. Attendees had the opportunity to learn directly from CEOs, Viewpoint leadership, and actual Viewpoint customers representing more than 10 different construction companies.

We are excited to share with you a few highlights from these initial events. Check out the benefits of attending one of these incredible learning and networking events coming to a location near you soon!

Technology Thought Leaders

All of our events took place at one of the best steakhouses each city had to offer to ensure an intimate, comfortable environment for learning and networking. Every event featured a keynote speaker who came with significant history in the construction industry, well-developed knowledge of technology, and valuable experience with business strategy and best practices. These speakers covered highly-relevant topics including organizational change, strategy framework, becoming a pioneer of the digital future, technology strategic planning, developing an insight-driven culture, emerging trends in the construction industry and building an information bridge between field and office. For a detailed list of speakers and topics, check out our previous blog post.

Panel of Peers

Hearing from thought leaders in the industry was highly valuable for attendees and allowed them to walk away with real-world action items to take back to their construction companies. Meanwhile, attendees were also able to learn about technology strategies directly from their peers. We invited a handful of Viewpoint customers to share their experiences with finding a software solution that fit their companies’ needs, implementing that software, applying the software to meet specific needs and identifying the ROI of the software in their organizations. This allowed construction professionals to ask tough questions of their peers—project manager to project manager, CFO to CFO.

Happy Hour Networking

After the learning portion of our events wrapped up, attendees had the opportunity to enjoy great food and drink and get to know one another. Networking went on through the rest of the evening featuring rich conversation spurred on by the thought-provoking sessions. Attendees left our events with full stomachs, fresh new connections and a wealth of new ideas for improving their construction companies’ productivity and performance in order to stay ahead of the competition.

Needless to say, these events were a huge success, and they are just the beginning. If you have questions about the role of technology in your construction company, want to see how other contractors are managing digital transformations OR if you want to meet some new colleagues and have a beer with us, make sure to register for one of our next roadshows.

The customer panel was my favorite part. It was really great and insightful to hear from other IT customers on how they are getting the most out of construction technology.”

“Great event put on by great people! Thanks for putting it on.”

“This was our first time to attend. It was very enjoyable and I hope to see more in the future.”
